Terms & Conditions of Service

Top Knox Cleaning LLC

By booking or receiving services from Top Knox Cleaning LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:


1. Scope of Services

Top Knox Cleaning LLC provides residential, commercial, post-construction, and specialty cleaning services. Services are limited to the scope agreed upon at the time of booking. We do not provide restoration, repair, or remediation services.


2. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due according to the terms agreed at booking or on invoice.

  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of services, late fees, collections activity, and/or legal action.

  • Chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversed payments may result in immediate account termination.

  • Refunds or credits are issued at the sole discretion of Top Knox Cleaning LLC in accordance with our Fulfillment and Satisfaction Policy.


3. Client Responsibilities & Home Preparation

Clients agree to:

  • Secure pets during service.

  • Provide safe access to the property.

  • Remove or secure fragile, valuable, hazardous, or leak-prone items prior to service. This includes (but is not limited to): plug-in air fresheners, oil diffusers, candles, open liquids, valuables, and unstable décor.

  • Ensure the environment is safe for cleaners (no aggressive pets, exposed hazards, unsafe conditions, or hostile behavior).

We are not responsible for damage caused by client-owned products placed on finished surfaces or items left in unstable positions.


4. Property Condition, Pre-Existing Damage & Wear

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, weakened surfaces, or items that fail due to age, condition, or improper installation.

  • Certain household products (including oil-based plug-ins and diffusers) are known to damage furniture and surfaces over time, even without being moved.

  • Clients acknowledge that cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects, stains, cracks, or surface deterioration.


5. Damage Claims & Reporting Policy

  • Any concerns or claims must be reported within 24 hours of service with clear photos.

  • Claims submitted outside this window may be denied.

  • Claims must include reasonable documentation of condition and fair market value.

  • Replacement of personal property is not guaranteed and is determined at the sole discretion of Top Knox Cleaning LLC based on verified evidence of negligence and fair market value.

  • Our satisfaction guarantee focuses on service quality and may include refunds or service credits where appropriate.


6. Theft Allegations & False Claims

  • Any allegation of theft or misconduct will be taken seriously and reviewed internally.

  • Claims must be supported with reasonable documentation (receipts, serial numbers, police reports if applicable).

  • False or fraudulent claims may result in immediate termination of services and may be reported to insurance carriers or authorities when appropriate.


7. Safety, Conduct & Respect

Clients agree to maintain a respectful, safe, and non-hostile environment for all staff and contractors.
Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, unsafe conditions, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate service termination without refund.


8. Privacy & Security

  • Our team respects client privacy and confidentiality.

  • Clients agree not to record staff without consent where prohibited by law.

  • We are not responsible for unsecured valuables, sensitive documents, or personal items left accessible during service.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Top Knox Cleaning LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate client information, unsafe conditions, or failure to secure items.


10. Third-Party Insurance & Claims

In rare cases where a third-party carrier becomes involved, we will cooperate with standard review processes. No admission of fault is made unless determined through proper investigation. Clients agree that claims must follow appropriate protocols through insurers or legal channels rather than informal monetary demands.


11. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for:

  • Nonpayment

  • Hostile or unsafe environments

  • Repeated or unreasonable complaints

  • Fraudulent or bad-faith claims

  • Abuse of staff or policies


12. Legal Disputes & Responsibility for Legal Costs

In the event of legal action arising from services provided:

  • The Client agrees to first attempt resolution in good faith communication.

  • If legal action is pursued and Top Knox Cleaning LLC is found not liable, the Client agrees to be responsible for reasonable legal fees and costs incurred by the Company to defend the claim, to the fullest extent permitted by law.


13. Agreement to Terms

By booking or receiving services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
